Slow Cooker Lentil Barley Soup With Turkey Kielbasa

ingredients
1 bag (16 ounce size) brown lentils, sorted and rinsed
2 medium onions, chopped
2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
12 ounces smoked turkey kielbasa cut into coins
1/3 cup uncooked barley
2 cans (14.5 ounce size) ready-to-serve beef broth
3 1/2 cups water
Dijon mustard
prepared horseradish
directions
Combine the lentils, onions, carrots, garlic, tomatoes, kielbasa, barley, broth, and water in a crock pot.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours or until the lentils and barley are tender.
Serve with Dijon mustard and horseradish, if desired.
