A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Adriatic Spaghetti (Spaghetti Dell'adriatico)

- #36133
ingredients
3 1/4 pounds octopus
1/2 cup olive oil
1 pinch rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 pinch oregano
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
chopped parsley
1 green chili pepper chopped
1/2 pound tomatoes, peeled and cut up
3 cloves garlic, chopped
salt and pepper
1 pound spaghetti
directions
The octopus must be very carefully washed and dried, and the mouth removed. Cover the bottom of a saucepan with oil; add the rosemary, bay leaf oregano, cumin seeds, parley, chili pepper, tomatoes and chopped garlic. Place the octopus on top of this mixture and season with salt and pepper. Cover the pot very tightly and simmer for about 45 minutes.
Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until it is 'al dente' (firm to the bite). Drain and turn onto a warm serving dish. Mix the octopus sauce into the spaghetti. Serve piping hot.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Wonderful recipe, I substituted octopus with fresh mussels, calamari, scollops and green prawns. Very easy to cook and looks very classy and gourmet. For my own taste I will use less cummin seeds next time and add more chilli! Thanks!
