It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

This pie dough has a nice neutral flavor making it ideal for either sweet or savory pie recipes. You can add additional sweetener for dessert pies if you wish.

2 cups flour
1/2 cup sour cream
5 ounces butter, at room temperature
Combine the flour, sour cream, and softened butter until a soft dough forms.
Divide the dough in half and pat each into a ball. Place in the refrigerator, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Roll out each dough ball into a 9-inch circle and line a pie plate. Use as an unbaked crust.
Can be used for sweet or savory pies. If using for a sweet pie, add 1/2 tsp vanilla or almond extract to the dough if desired.

Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.

Makes a soft but tasty crust. I prefer the taste of this kind of crust actually.
