Slow Cooker TVP Veggie Soup

ingredients
1/2 cup TVP (texturized vegetable protein) chunks
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped carrot
5 teaspoons vegetable bouillon granules
1/4 cup converted rice, uncooked
1 can (15 ounce size) diced tomatoes, drained
3 1/2 cups water
1 can (15 ounce size) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 can (15 ounce size) sliced green beans, drained
1 cup sliced okra, fresh or frozen
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot. Stir well to mix.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the vegetables are soft and everything is heated through.
Serve hot.

Not a stupid question at all! TVP stands for texturized vegetable protein. It's a meat substitute.
