ingredients

1 cup butter, melted
4 cups pecans, chopped
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound bittersweet chocolate
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup light corn syrup
caramel sauce
whole roasted pecans

directions

In a 10" spring form pan, spray vegetable oil and line with parchment paper. Set aside.

Prepare the nut crust by mixing together half of the melted butter with the pecans, sugar and salt. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes, then cool.

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate, remaining butter, cream and corn syrup over low heat. When chocolate mixture has cooled, pour into pecan crust.

Cool 8 hours or overnight. Top with caramel sauce and whole roasted pecans before serving.
