1 box (18.25 ounce size) chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
2 large boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
1 large size container Cool Whip frozen nondairy whipped topping
6 chocolate covered toffee candy bars
directions
Bake chocolate cake as directed. B
Break cake into large pieces. Use half for bottom layer. Mix pudding as directed on box, then spread half of pudding over cake layer. Top with half of Cool Whip.
Break candy into small pieces. Use half of candy over Cool Whip. Then repeat layers. Top with remaining candy.

I have been making this Trifle for over 20 yrs using Brownies. It always disappears everywhere I take it. Use white choc instant pudding for holidays and tint it with the appropriate holiday color. Use white or angel food cake and the sky is the limit!
