Start breakfast the night before in your crock pot! The oatmeal will be perfectly cooked when you wake up.

2 1/2 cups water
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
Lightly grease the bottom and sides of the crock pot.
Combine the water, oats, and salt in the crock pot and gently stir to mix.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
Serve hot with any desired toppings.
Some crock pots cook very "hot" - either shorten the cooking time or cook on the warm setting if needed.
