Slow Cooker Halftime Chili

ingredients
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cans (15 ounce size) kidney beans with liquid
1 can (28 ounce size) whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
1 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
salt and pepper, to taste
Toppings
chopped jalapeno pepper
chopped onion or scallion
grated Cheddar cheese
lime wedges
sour cream
directions
In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the ground beef for 5 to 10 minutes, or until browned.
Transfer to a slow cooker. Then add the onion, peppers, beans, tomatoes, vinegar, and spices to the slow cooker.
Cook on high setting for 4 hours, or until all vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with desired toppings.
