Love coffee with your dessert? This coffee-cream cheese frosting will get you your fix! Cream cheese and instant coffee team up to make a velvety and deliciously tangy topping for cupcakes, brownies, or whatever else your java-loving heart desires.

ingredients
1 tablespoon instant coffee
1 tablespoon hot water
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
directions
Combine the instant coffee and water in a small bowl. Mix until the coffee dissolves. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. With the mixer running, slowly add the powdered sugar until incorporated. Beat in the dissolved coffee until uniform in color.
Spread on cooled cake or cupcakes. Store frosted cakes and leftover frosting in the refrigerator.
