1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Combine all the ingredients in a sifter or fine mesh strainer over a bowl. Sift three times.
Place the spice mixture in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 months.

I used this in individual apple hand pies - gave them a lovely flavor. Will try it in a full pie.

Didn't love this. It wasn't awful but I don't see why it needed cornstarch or instant tea mix.
