Fettucini Alfredo (With Crabmeat Or Shrimp)

ingredients
1 pound fettucini pasta
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
freshly grated black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
1 pound crab meat or shrimp
directions
Cook fettucini in salted water until al dente.
Melt butter in Dutch oven or large pot. Add cheese and stir. Add drained, hot fettucini and toss vigorously with large salad forks to melt cheese and coat pasta.
Add pepper to taste. Add cream while still tossing. Add crab meat or shrimp. Transfer to serving dish and enjoy!

my first time cooking crab as well.. very delish!! It was so simple, and great. I also added a lot more garlic then it called for.
This is just about as close as you can get to ruining good food.The cream needs to be reduced before adding the crab meat..some herbs and a little sherry would add to the goodness

My first time cooking a crab dish was a very positive experience. I used pappardelle, added a little more garlic and it was scrumptious! And easy!
