Whip up some homemade pico de gallo with fresh tomatoes, jalapeno, lime juice, red onion, and cilantro. This simple recipe is perfect for adding a zesty kick to your favorite dishes.

2 medium tomatoes, finely diced
1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 small red onion, chopped
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
Combine the tomatoes, jalapeno, lime juice, red onion, and cilantro in a bowl. Mix gently. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
When ready to serve, season to taste with salt and pepper.

very nice pico. good with everything, used red onion, and you could use more jalapenos if you want it hotter. will make again
