ingredients
1 sweet onion, sliced
4 pounds leg of lamb, rolled
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 package (1.5 ounce size) onion soup mix
5 cups water
directions
Place the onion in the crock pot. Set the leg of lamb on top of the onion.
In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, garlic, onion soup mix, and water. Pour over the lamb.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the lamb registers 145 degrees F on a meat thermometer.
Remove the lamb from the crock pot and place on a cutting board. Let sit, covered lightly with foil, for 20 minutes.
Carve the lamb in thin slices and serve.
