Ingredients: 1/2 cup margarine 1 1/2 pound perch or cod or haddock fillets 1 egg, well beaten 1 cup fine bread crumbs salt, to taste black pepper, to taste lemon wedges (for garnish)
Directions: Melt margarine in baking dish in 325 degrees F oven (Do not allow margarine to brown). Dip fish first in melted margarine, then in egg, then in crumbs, coating well; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Bake in preheated 375 degrees F oven 15 to 20 minutes, or until fish tests done. Garnish with lemon wedges.
