
Easter Egg Shrimp Casserole

4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
6 leftover Easter hard-boiled eggs, sliced
1 pound cooked shrimp
8 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese
paprika to garnish
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is bubbly.
Slowly whisk in the milk. Add the salt, pepper, and Worcestershire. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is thick.
Stir the cheese into the sauce and cook, stirring frequently, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
In a 1 1/2 quart baking dish, alternate layers of hard boiled eggs, shrimp, and cheese sauce. Sprinkle the top with paprika.
Place the dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until heated through.
