Fun Food Holidays™
June 4th, 2025 is National Cheese Day

National Cheese Day

Cheese is most commonly made from cow's milk, but can also be made from other animals including goat, sheep, and buffalo.

Cheese comes in a variety of textures including hard, semi-hard, semi-soft and soft.

Popular cheeses include Swiss, Cheddar, American, Provolone, Mozzarella, Feta, Goat, Parmesan, Ricotta and there are hundreds more!

We even have a cheese word find on CDK.

Cheese, while wonderful to eat as is, has multiple uses in cooking. Cheese can be grated and uses as a garnish such as on salads or tacos. It can also be melted and mixed into the dish as in macaroni and cheese or lasagna.
