February 21st, 2025 is National Sticky Bun Day

National Sticky Bun Day

It is generally thought that it was the Germans or Swedes who brought sticky buns to America. They're called sticky buns because of the sticky sweet honey, brown sugar, or maple syrup that they're made with, and because they are baked stuck together in a pan and must be pulled apart to be served. People love 'em! This is one Old World recipe that has really stuck!
