ingredients
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can (14 ounce size) cling peaches
cinnamon or nutmeg
directions
Spread butter evenly over bottom of a 9" X 9" X 2" pan.
Drain the peaches and reserve juice.
Mix flour, sugar, and milk and pour over margarine. Drop peach slices over batter and pour peach juice over peaches. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 35-45 minutes, or until brown and batter tests done.
