Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

- #46390
1-2 hrs
ingredients
6 baking potatoes
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
seasonings, to taste
margarine, as desired
paprika
directions
Bake the potatoes until tender. Remove from oven, and when cool enough to handle, slice the top off each potato (this makes a delicious potato skin treat); scoop out the insides into a medium bowl; mash or beat with a mixer, until smooth.
Add the nonfat plain yogurt; mix in thoroughly. Add more or less yogurt, depending on size of potatoes; mixture should be somewhat fluffy and moist, but not runny. Add any other seasonings and/or margarine, if desired, when mashing.
Put potato mixture back in the shells. Sprinkle with paprika and bake until completely heated through, approximately 20-30 minutes, at 325 degrees F.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
