ingredients
3 egg
1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup salad oil
directions
Separate eggs. Beat egg whites in a small bowl until stiff.
Combine shredded cheddar cheese, salt, flour and cayenne. Beat in egg whites.
Beat egg yolks and water in separate bowl until well blended.
Place crushed bread crumbs in another bowl. Drop in a teaspoon of cheese mixture into bread crumbs. Roll in crumbs until cheese forms a ball. Roll ball in egg yolk then bread crumbs again.
Pour oil into skillet and heat until it reaches 375 degrees F. Drop cheese balls a few at a time in oil. Brown for a few minutes. Drain on towel.
