It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

One of our simplest Valentine's Day recipes! Form breadstick dough into heart shapes, sprinkle with seasonings, and bake as directed.

1 can (11 ounce size) refrigerated breadstick dough
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Unroll the bread stick dough onto a flat surface (a cutting board works well). Carefully separate the dough into individual bread sticks, being careful not to stretch the dough too much.
To make large hearts, twist two bread sticks and attach them at the ends and form into a heart shape.
To make small hearts, twist one bread stick and pinch the ends together and form a heart shape.
Place hearts on an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and dried thyme.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, or until they are lightly browned. If using a dark nonstick baking sheet, reduce oven temp to 325 degrees F. Let cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

Super easy to make with a great visual effect. I didn't have any dried thyme leaves in my cabinet - but the valentine breadsticks turned out tasty with just the Parmesan sprinkled on.
