ingredients
1 bag mixed salad greens
5 slices red onion
6 black olives
4 banana peppers
1/2 cup croutons
1 small tomato, quartered
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Chill one salad bowl in freezer for at least 30 minutes. Place bag of salad in bowl. Place on top of lettuce but red onion, black olives, banana peppers, tomatoes, and croutons. Add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese if you like, and Olive Garden Salad Dressing on top.

This sounded about right, except the actual Olive Garden salad also has large whole black olives and sliced (not quartered) ROMA tomatoes! Using Roma tomatoes instead of vine-ripened or hydroponic tomatoes makes a huge difference, they have very different tastes.
Sounds ok, except that they're not banana peppers...Olive Garden uses Pepperocinis which look just like banana peppers but taste different.

This is amazing salad.
