30-60 minutes
ingredients
4 cups fettucine noodles, uncooked
1 can condensed cream of mushroom, chicken or celery soup
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sliced or stems and pieces mushrooms, drained
1 diced onion
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 package hot dogs, cut into coins
2 cups frozen vegetables, thawed and partially cooked, (peas, corn and diced carrots)
Worcestershire sauce to taste
fresh cracked black pepper
1 cup grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese
directions
Cook noodles as directed on package until nearly al dente. The last minute or so, add the chopped hot dogs to the pot. Drain and rinse under hot water. Return noodles back to pot and add everything but the soup, milk and cheeses. Mix well.
In a bowl, mix the soup and milk together then add to the noodle mixture and stir again. When everything is warm, serve. Top with cheese.
Alternative: If you prefer, you can turn into a casserole, baking at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Kids tend to enjoy the cheese grated and on top of the bowl.

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
