It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Honey Caramel Sauce

- #120540
You may be tempted to just eat this honey caramel sauce with a spoon. We won't judge. But it's also delicious over pound cake, ice cream, waffles, and more.

under 30 minutes
ingredients
1 1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
directions
Combine the honey and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, until the mixture reaches 238 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir until the butter melts and is mixed in.
Let the sauce cool slightly then serve warm over ice cream, waffles, or other dessert.
Store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat before serving.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
