ingredients

1/3 cup instant coffee powder
1 cup dry milk powder
1/2 cup dry coffee creamer
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix

directions

Combine the instant coffee, dry milk powder, dry coffee creamer, sugar, and pudding mix in a zip-top plastic bag or jar with a lid. Mix well.

Store at room temperature for up to 4 months.

To use the coffee mix, combine 3-4 tablespoons of the mix with 10-12 ounces hot water.

recipe tips

For a smoother mix, blend the ingredients in a food processor until well combined and fine in texture.

Try different types of milk powder, such as goat milk powder or coconut milk powder, for unique flavors.

Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the mix for a warm, spiced version.

If you're using a sugar substitute, check the conversion ratio, as it may differ from sugar.

Store the mix in small batches to preserve freshness and flavor over time.

Consider layering the ingredients in a clear jar for a visually appealing gift.

Always stir the coffee mix well before using to make sure the flavors are evenly distributed.

For a creamier texture, mix the coffee with hot milk instead of water.

  1. WERT25 REVIEW:

creamy and delicious! made it with vanilla pudding the first time and then tried both chocolate and cheesecake pudding mixes. BEST. EVER.

Can I make this keto-friendly by leaving the sugar out?

    • Most of the ingredients are not keto-friendly so you'd have to make lots of modifications. The milk powder and coffee should be ok but the pudding mix, even sugar free, has a lot of starch in it as does the coffee creamer.

  3. Ann REVIEW:

The pudding does not readily dissolve. It’s not a great ingredient. Powdered vanilla is available as well as the liquid which you could add after brewing and it would be a better choice.

    • Maybe it's the brand you used? It dissolved fine for us with just a little stirring. The pudding adds a real creamy element that you wouldn't get from powdered vanilla.

  4. LadyDi REVIEW:

First time I have ever tried this, but I love it.

  5. Guest Foodie REVIEW:

I use more instant coffee in the mix and less dry milk powder. I like the vanilla flavor and the pudding makes it kinda creamier I think.
