Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I prepared this meal for my family the other night because it included lots of different food groups. I was very disappointed when we all tried it. It just did not taste good at all! I even went through all the ingredients to make sure I did everything correctly. The different foods did not go well together and we ended up getting pizza.

I have a teenager who is very picky. She simply loved this recipe. She said it had everything in it. I know it has to be good , she asked me to make it again.
