An old-fashioned southern US dessert with an Asian-style name. This buttery-sweet coconut, raisin, and pecan pie is the perfect dessert for any occasion.

2-5 hrs

4 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
1 large unbaked pie shell
directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the eggs, sugar, melted butter, vinegar, and vanilla in a bowl and mix until uniform in color. Stir in the nuts, coconuts, and raisins.
Pour the pie filling into the unbaked pie shell. Place the Japanese fruit pie in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until set in the middle.
Remove the pie from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. When cool, refrigerate the pie until well chilled before serving.
nutrition data
Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
