Fruit Cocktail Pie

ingredients
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour, sifted
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
directions
Mix all together and pour into a 8 x 8 inch pan then top with topping (see below) and bake at 350 degrees F for 40-50 minutes. Serve with Whip Cream.
Topping: Mix together an sprinkle over pie.
