It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

This non-alcoholic blended mudslide can be enjoyed by everyone. It's practically a dessert in a martini glass.
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup brewed coffee, well chilled
2 cups milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup, plus more for rim
1 teaspoon hazelnut syrup
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
whipped cream
maraschino cherries
chocolate sprinkles
shaved chocolate
ground cinnamon
Chill martini glasses in the freezer for 20 minutes before preparing the recipe.
Combine the ice cream, coffee, milk, chocolate syrup, and hazelnut syrup in a blender. Process until smooth. Add the heavy cream and process until just mixed (do not over process the drink once you add the cream).
Drizzle chocolate syrup on the inside of the chilled martini glasses. Gently pour the mudslide into the center of the glasses so as not to wash off too much of the chocolate syrup.
Top as desired with whipped cream, maraschino cherries, chocolate sprinkles, shaved chocolate, and/or cinnamon.
Serve immediately.

Freezing the glasses helps keep the drink colder longer.
Adjust the thickness of the drink by adding more or less milk. Or, add more ice cream.
For an extra chocolatey flavor, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder.
If using whipped cream, make sure it's very cold so it doesn't melt and dilute the drink too soon.
For a fun twist, rim the glass with crushed cookies or graham crackers.
Add a small amount of coffee syrup for a hint of coffee taste without the alcohol.
If serving to a group, make a large batch in a pitcher and pour into glasses as needed.
Yes, you can use chocolate or coffee-flavored ice cream for a different flavor.
Almond, vanilla, or caramel syrup can be used as alternatives to hazelnut syrup.
It's best made with a blender for a smooth texture, but you can hand mix it vigorously; the texture will be less creamy.
Reduce the amount of chocolate syrup or choose a less sweet ice cream flavor.
It's best served immediately after blending to maintain the chilled, creamy texture.
Blender: For combining the vanilla ice cream, coffee, milk, chocolate syrup, and hazelnut syrup to create a smooth and creamy mixture. Make sure not to over-process the drink after adding the heavy cream.
Martini Glasses: For serving the mudslide in style. Be sure to chill the glasses in the freezer before preparing the recipe to keep the drink cold.
Measuring Cups and Spoons: For precise measurements of the ingredients, especially the chocolate syrup, hazelnut syrup, and heavy cream.
Whipped Cream Dispenser: For topping the mudslide with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Alternatively, store-bought whipped cream can be used.
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: Pair a scoop of this rich, creamy ice cream with a glass of the mudslide for an extra indulgent treat. The flavors of the ice cream will complement the chocolate and coffee notes of the drink.
Chocolate-Dipped Biscotti: Dunk a crunchy biscotti into the mudslide for a delightful contrast in textures. The biscotti's sweetness and crunch will balance out the creamy richness of the drink.
Hazelnut Truffles: Enjoy some luxurious hazelnut truffles alongside the mudslide for a double dose of hazelnut flavor. The richness of the truffles will enhance the nutty notes in the drink.
Coffee-Infused Whipped Cream: Top the mudslide with a dollop of coffee-infused whipped cream for an extra boost of caffeine. The coffee flavor in the whipped cream will enhance the overall coffee profile of the drink.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

This was absolutely delicious although I wish this mudslide could be a little bit healthier...
There are definitely ways to cut fat and calories in this recipe. Try low-fat or non-fat versions of ice cream, milk, etc.
