Slow Cooker Curried Split Pea And Rice Soup

ingredients
2 cups dried split peas, rinsed
6 cups chicken broth
1 large onion, chopped
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 large carrots, peeled and diced
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 cup cooked brown rice
directions
Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and mix well to combine.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 4 hours or until the vegetables and rice are tender.
