Slow Cooker Mediterranean Shrimp Soup

ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 ounce size) whole tomatoes, undrained and coarsely chopped
2 cans (14.5 ounce size) reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 jar (2.5 ounce size) sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
1/4 cup ripe olives, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled
directions
Place all ingredients except shrimp in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 4 1/2 hours or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook 15 to 30 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Remove and discard bay leaves.
