Old-Fashioned Mincemeat Pie

ingredients
3 cups mincemeat
1 1/2 cup chopped apples
2 packages double-crust pie shells
directions
Mix mincemeat and apples. Pour into pie shells. Cover with a top crust. Cut slits in top crust.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in a 425 degrees F oven until crust is browned. Serve warm.
NOTE: To moisten fruit, use fruit juice or brandy.
