Milk Dud Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies

ingredients
1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Milk Duds
directions
Beat first 4 ingredients until fluffy. Add egg; mix. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill dough.
Roll into 1-inch balls. Press Milk Dud into center. Roll back into ball. Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
Place on ungreased (or parchment paper lined) cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cool 1 to 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
