Beefed-Up Spanish Orzo

ingredients
1 package (16 ounce size) orzo pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound mushrooms, coarsely chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 jar (28 ounce size) spaghetti sauce
1 cup salsa
sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives, for garnish
directions
Cook orzo according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook 8-10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and beef is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
Add cooked orzo, spaghetti sauce, and salsa. Reheat heat to low and cook 3-5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring frequently. Garnish with olives and serve.
