Ingredients: 1 pound lean ground beef 2 tablespoons water 1/3 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten 1 jar (28 ounce size) pasta sauce 4 cups hot cooked spaghetti pasta
Directions: Combine the beef, water, bread crumbs, and egg in a bowl. Mix well. Shape the meat into 2-inch meatballs and place in a shallow microwave-safe baking dish.
Microwave on HIGH heat for 5 minutes, turning the meatballs once, or until the beef is cooked through (and registers 160 degrees F on a meat thermometer).
Evenly pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs. Cover the baking dish and microwave on HIGH for 3 more minutes or until the sauce is heated through. Stir once during the cooking time.
Serve the meatballs and sauce over the hot, cooked pasta.
