Fun Food Holidays™ May 26th is National Blueberry Cheesecake Day

Cheesecakes come in a wide array of flavors. Some have a flavored base such as chocolate or pumpkin cheesecake. Others use a standard cheesecake base and add delicious toppings like cherries or apples. But of course one of the most popular toppings are blueberries!

Canned or fresh, blueberries add a tart-sweetness to a creamy cheesecake.

Did you know...? Blueberries start out as green berries. As they mature, they develop anthocyanin which is responsible for the blue color.
