Meet Valerie!

Valerie Whitmore is a true foodie pioneer. Her website, CDKitchen.com, has been around longer than all but one of the major food sites. Started in 1995 as her hobby, CDKitchen grew to become a longtime top food site, competing online with television food channels, cooking magazines, and celebrity chefs!

Valerie has over 25 years of recipe development and testing experience, 22 years as a senior recipe copy editor, and 20 years marketing websites and developing online content strategies. Valerie is a member of culinary professional organizations such as the James Beard Foundation and the IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals). She has been interviewed in the Los Angeles Times, the Minneapolis StarTribune, the Quad-City Times, the Richmond Times-Dispatch and others.
