Texas Steak Rub

Serves/Makes: 1 cup    |   Ready In: < 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon dried Mexican oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon dried basil
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dark chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions:
Grind together the oregano, thyme, basil, garlic, and granulated sugar in a spice grinder or food processor. Process until very fine.

Combine the mixture with the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix together well. Use immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 months.

To use, rub the mixture on all sides of the steaks and then grill or cook as desired.
