Ingredients: 1 pound white lump crab meat 1 medium onion, finely chopped 4 ounces vegetable oil 4 ounces ice water 3 ounces cider vinegar salt and pepper, to taste
Directions: Layer onion and crab in a dish with a cover. Add salt and pepper to taste. Evenly distribute oil, then vinegar and finally ice water over layered mixture.
Cover tightly and marinate at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. Toss before serving in individual bowls on a lettuce leaf.
