
Dutch Cocoa Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

2 cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons Dutch cocoa powder
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup boiling water
Combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a mixing bowl and mix well.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and cream cheese over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth.
Add the cream cheese mixture to the mixing bowl and beat with a mixer on medium speed until the mixture is crumbly.
With the mixer running, add the vanilla. Then with the mixer on medium-high speed, slowly add enough of the boiling water until the frosting becomes smooth.
Pour the frosting over cake or other dessert and then chill for 5-10 minutes or until the frosting sets. The frosting will be soft.
