
Chinese Buffet Style Donuts

oil to deep fry in
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/3 cup sugar
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F. You can also use a deep skillet or dutch oven, adding enough oil to be 2-3 inches deep.
Remove the biscuits from the can. You can cut them smaller if desired. Add them in batches to the fryer, trying to keep them separate when adding them so they don't stick together.
Fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
While the donuts are frying, place the sugar in a small bowl. When the donuts are cool, toss them in the sugar to coat on all sides.
