ingredients

2 cloves elephant garlic, finely crushed
4 ounces new potatoes, scrubbed and halved
4 ounces Spanish onions, diced
4 ounces king prawns, shelled and deveined (or use canned crab or canned salmon)
2 ounces butter, melted
3 ounces all-purpose flour, sifted
1 ounce regular oats
3 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
seasoning, according to taste

directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Using a bowl, combine garlic, potatoes, scallions and prawns (or crab or salmon). Season according to taste.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats and half the Parmesan cheese. Spoon potato mixture into an ovenproof dish. Top with the flour mixture and sprinkle on remaining cheese.

Bake for 25 minutes until golden. Serve hot with garlic bread and a light salad for a quick family dinner.

  1. LesterBrown REVIEW:

Very dry, children wouldn't eat it. Perhaps there should also be butter in the topping?

recipe id 53950 forgot to mention when to add the melted butter?? Busting to try this one...cheers

    • Venturing a guess here, but I would recommend adding the butter to the potato mixture. Looks like the submitter left that step off.
