Sour Cream Chocolate Cookies

ingredients
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup broken walnuts
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sour cream
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
Combine shortening and brown sugar. Add beaten egg and blend in. Add walnuts and melted chocolate.
Mix flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder, blend well. Add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until done.
