ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 package (3 ounce size) cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (8.5 ounce size) crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 cup Maraschino cherries, chopped and well drained
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
directions
Blend together butter, cream cheese and vanilla. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add sifted dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Stir in pineapple, cherries and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
