
All Day Herbed Pork Roast

3 pounds pork roast or tenderloin
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 bay leaf
2 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 apple, cored, and cut into quarters
salt and pepper, to taste
Place the roast in the crock pot. Add the herbs and apple. Add enough water to just cover the roast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper as desired.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove the roast from from the crock pot and discard the cooking liquid. Carve the roast as desired.
