
Grilled Spice-Rubbed New York Strip Steak

8 New York strip steaks, excess fat trimmed
vegetable oil
1/4 cup McCormick® Grill Mates® steak rub
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Lightly brush or spray the steaks with oil. Season both sides of the steaks with the steak rub. Press the rub onto the surface of the steaks. If desired, you can refrigerate the steaks with the rub on them for up to 2 hours before cooking. Let the steaks come to room temperature before grilling.
Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 6 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until they are cooked to the desired doneness. Timing will depend on the thickness of the steaks.
Remove from the grill and let sit for 3-5 minutes before serving.
