Ingredients: 8 large russet potatoes softened butter to taste milk, as needed 2 tablespoons horseradish 2 tablespoons chopped garlic salt, to taste
Directions: Fill a large pan with water and place over medium-high heat. While the water is coming to a boil, peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Add the potato chunks to the water.
Cook the potatoes until tender (they are done when they can easily be pierced with a fork).
Drain the potatoes well and return to the pan. Add butter and milk as desired (add more as needed). Mash with a potato masher until well mixed.
Add the horseradish, garlic, and salt. Stir well then serve hot.
