Ingredients: 1/2 pound ground beef 3 tablespoons fat 2 tablespoons chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped celery 2 tablespoons flour 1 cup water 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 2 cups cooked tomatoes
Directions: Brown meat slightly in hot fat in heavy skillet.
Add onion and celery and continue cooking until well browned.
Add flour and blend. Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer 1 hour or longer.
Serve over hot fluffy rice, noodles or toast points.
