Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup butter (no substitutes) 1 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 5 eggs (room temperature) 3 cups sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (real) 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups chopped walnuts
Directions: Heat oven to 375 degrees F (350 degrees F for glass baking dish). Melt butter in a saucepan or microwave. Stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on high speed 2 minutes.
Reduce speed to low and beat in cocoa mixture until well blended. Beat in flour just until blended. Stir in walnuts.
Spread in a greased 13" x 9" baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do not over bake.
Cool in pan. Cut into small squares.
