
Eight Layer Beefy Fiesta Dip

1 pound ground beef
1 package (1.25 ounce size) taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 can (16 ounce size) refried beans
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 can (2.25 ounce size) sliced ripe olives, drained
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 large avocado, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup salsa
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
tortilla chips
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Add the taco seasoning and water. Mix well, reduce the heat to medium, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the refried beans to the skillet. Mix well.
Spread the beef mixture on a plate or in a straight-sided glass bowl. Top in layers in the following order: cheese, olives, tomato, avocado, sour cream, salsa, green onions.
Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
